Become an Intern at Campus Kolding – and Help Shape Student Life in the City

Would you like to gain hands-on experience with communication, event coordination, and collaboration with educational institutions, cultural partners, businesses, and internal stakeholders within Kolding Municipality? Then this internship might be just what you are looking for.

Campus Kolding is seeking an intern for the autumn semester of 2026. We handle a wide range of tasks and therefore welcome students from a variety of educations. Your internship tasks will be tailored to our current projects, your skills, and your professional development goals. Tasks may include written and graphic communication, social media management, event coordination, collaboration and communication with internal and external partners, and various administrative duties.

You don’t have to master everything. We encourage you to apply if you are interested in one or more of the areas mentioned above.

We welcome applications from both Danish- and English-speaking students.

About Business, Education and Relocation

The Department for Business, Education, and Relocation is a strategic unit within Kolding Municipality, reporting directly to the Director of the Municipality.

As an intern, you will primarily work within the education area, which is called Campus Kolding, but you may also be involved in tasks related to the department’s other focus areas. The team consists of five consultants and one manager.

Campus Kolding focuses on developing and supporting student life in the city through collaboration with students, educational institutions, and the cultural, civic, and business sectors. The goal is to create the best possible conditions for students in Kolding – socially, and culturally. Campus Kolding is behind major events such as KONTUR Student start Festival, “Slotskampen” and Campus Fair.

The department also works with initiatives related to the municipality’s business policy and relocation strategy, which both are closely connected to the educational area. Finally, the department is responsible for Kolding’s appointment as a UNESCO City of Design.

Possible Tasks

  • Creating graphics, text, and video for social media, flyers, booklets, discount guides, and content for websites

  • User interaction and community management on social media

  • Planning, communication, and on-site coordination of events

  • Collaborating with students, educational institutions, cultural actors, internal municipal stakeholders, companies, and other partners

Practical Information

You will have your own desk at Nytorv 11, Kolding. The internship will generally run during the autumn semester of 2026, with flexible start and end dates. If you would like to be involved in the KONTUR Study Start Festival, we would prefer you to start no later than medio August.

The internship is unpaid.
