Joint Open House at Campus Kolding 2024
Open House is the perfect opportunity to explore Kolding’s wide range of educational options and experience student life up close — whether you’re local or coming from afar!
On Saturday February 1st 2024 from 12 PM to 3 PM, you could visit Kolding’s four higher education institutions and learn more about SDU, IBA, UC SYD, and Kolding School of Design — all in one day. You could also get a taste of student life in Kolding by visiting a student apartment, enjoying a concert at UC SYD’s Friday Bar, and meeting the Campus Kolding team, who was ready to share insights about the city’s communities and activities.
Joint Open House is a unique chance to discover Kolding’s 50 higher education programs. We are hosting the event again in 2026 – more information to follow!
Visit the schools
At Campus Kolding, we have four different higher education institutions, offering programs in everything from design and innovation to economics and pedagogy.
University of Southern Denmark: Universitetsparken 1, 6000 Kolding.
UC SYD: Universitetsparken 2, 6000 Kolding.
International Business Academy: Havneparken 1, 6000 Kolding.
Design School Kolding: Ågade 10, 6000 Kolding.
Free activities
During Open House, visitors had the chance to take part in a variety of free activities.
Sonic College at UC SYD hosted Sonic Showcase in collaboration with KOLD Festival, where students showcased their music.
A coffee cart was available, offering warm cups of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate to enjoy while exploring the campus area, visiting schools, and checking out student housing.
And as always, we had our creative badge workshop, so everyone could take home a little keepsake to remember the day.

During Open House, a selection of student apartments near the campus were open for viewing in collaboration with StudentKolding.
Kolding Åpark 18 (Alfabo)
They offer both 1- and 2-room apartments.
Havneparken 2 and 4 (Bovia)
They offer apartments both with and without balconies.
Teglgårdsvej 27 (Domea)
They offer both 1- and 2-room apartments.
