Welcome back to Slotskampen!
The famous dodgeball tournament returns Wednesday, May 8th at 3 PM.
Mark your calendars and get ready for a day of celebration as we compete for the Golden Castle Trophy! And as tradition dictates, there will be fantastic prizes, a DJ, and FREE beer for the first hour.
All educational institutions have no classes from 2 PM – whether you're from UC SYD, IBA, DSKD, or SDU. So swap out your classes for fun, laughter, and camaraderie across institutions and fields of study.

Program for Slotskampen 24
2.00 PM: No classes at all educational institutions.
2.30 PM - 3.00 PM: Check-in at the venue. All participants receive a tote bag and have their team photo taken.
2.30 PM - 3.30 PM: Open bar!
3.00 PM - 3.30 PM: Kick-off. Introduction of teams.
3.30 PM - 5.00 PM: Tournament.
5.00 PM - 5.30 PM: Break and award ceremony for best costume, funniest team chant, and best team spirit.
5.30 PM - 7.00 PM: Tournament.
7.00 PM: Announcement of winners.
In addition to the tournament itself, the venue will also feature a DJ and various activities.

The official rules
Team members: A team consists of 5 players + max 2 substitutes, meaning there are always only 5 players on the field at a time.
Only one player is allowed to perform on a team throughout the tournament. All players must be registered in advance, and it is therefore not allowed to make substitutions during the day.
Balls: There are 3 balls in play at a time, placed in the middle of the field at the start of each match.
Game duration: 2 teams play against each other for a maximum of 5 minutes or until one team has no players left on the field.
If both teams still have players on the field after 5 minutes, the team with the most players on the field wins. If both teams have an equal number of players on the field, the match ends in a draw.
Match start: The match starts with players standing on their respective back lines. When the referee blows the whistle, the match begins. Players must touch their own back line before shooting at opponents.
Ball game:
If hit by the ball, a player must immediately leave the field.
Catching a ball thrown by the opponent eliminates the thrower from the game. Additionally, the catching team gets 1 player back on the field.
Players are allowed to block with the ball.
Stalling tactics are strictly prohibited. It is at the referee's discretion when this occurs. The referee may penalize a player in these cases.
Draw: In the event of a draw in quarterfinals, semifinals, or finals, the match continues until one team has an advantage.
In special circumstances, the organizers may deviate from these rules.
DODGEBALL AND PARTY
Warm up to Slotskampen with a look back at 2023, where we kicked off the party with a bang - namely with a drag show by Mizz Privileze!
Super Sonic from Sonic College emerged victorious and had the honor of taking home the Golden Castle Trophy at the Friday bar.
Food Reformers provided surplus food that could be heated over a bonfire.
There were cool prizes for the teams with the best team spirit, best battle cry, and best costume.
